Presented by Whole Foods Market and free to the public, the 15th Annual Radio 92.9 EarthFest is a celebration for the Earth featuring great music, family-friendly activities and showcase a host of environmentally friendly products and non-profit organizations. Produced in conjunction with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, the event draws more than 100,000 along the banks of the Charles at The DCR Hatch Shell. Main Stage - 100,000 plus people come out year after year for the Radio 92.9 EarthFest Main Stage artists and this year is no exception! The stellar line-up includes Cake, Cracker, The English Beat, BoDeans, and The EarthFest OurStage Boston Band winner!

Are you bringing a child to EarthFest?

Stop by the Radio 92.9 Information Booth for your Next Generation Children's Centers Lost Child ID bracelet! There's nothing worse than being in a large crowd with your child and not knowing where they are. With these convenient wristbands, you write your cell phone number on the inside so if anyone gets lost, staff know to cut the bracelet off and call you! How do I get there?

A: The best way to get to the Radio 92.9 EarthFest is by using alternative transportation. Take public transportation-the closest MBTA stops are on the Red Line at the Charles Street/MGH stop and the Green Line at Arlington Street. A free, secure bike valet service will also be provided - ride your bike to the 15th annual Radio 92.9 EarthFest and check it out!

Limited parking is available in the following lots nearby:

Mass. General parking lot (accessible from Charles Circle Rotary Cambridge Street Parking Garage (beneath the Charles River Plaza at the site of the new Whole Foods Market) Charles Street Beneath the Boston Common.


Can I bring a blanket/chairs to sit on?
A: Yes. Much like the 4th of July shows at The DCR Hatch Shell, it is on a first come first served basis for attendees to claim their real estate.

Can I bring a cooler?
A: Yes you may! There will be many vendors handing out free samples as well as a few selling food but you are more than welcome to bring your own.

May I bring alcohol?
A: No. There is not alcohol allowed on the DCR property.

Do I need money?
A: While there are many vendors with free samples, there are also a few selling food. There will also be merchandise from the bands and Radio 92.9 available.

Are there ATMs?
A: No. Consider stopping at the bank before you arrive.

Is this a kid friendly event?
A:Yes! Children are welcome with adult supervision. There is a Family Stage area for children of all ages.

Are there restroom facilities?
A: Yes! There will be portable facilities scattered throughout the property for your convenience.

Boston Music Stage - For the second year in a row, the Radio 92.9 Earthfest will feature the Boston Music Stage. The stage hosts the best local artists from Greater Boston, one of the nation’s most vibrant music scenes. This year, Radio 92.9 has partnered with Ourstage.com to find out who should play on the Boston Music Stage.

Kid's Planet Stage - In addition to the musical performances on the main stage, Earthfest will also feature Kids’ Planet – an expanded interactive family area. The perfect destination for families and kids of all ages, Kids’ Planet will feature a stage with a wide variety of musical acts and entertainment.
