By Road:

Please refer to the map at bottom of page.

From North of Boston, take Route 1 or 93 south to Boston, follow Route 1
along Charles River, turning off Storrow Drive to follow Route 1 south to
Jamaica Pond. At first roundabout past Jamaica Pond, reverse direction and
turn right onto Eliot Street.

From Newton or Brookline, take Route 9 to Chestnut Hill Mall, take Hammond
Pond Parkway past golf course, turning left onto Newton Street. Follow
Newton Street to Pond Street, arriving at Route 1 (Arborway). Turn right but
reverse direction immediately at roundabout and turn right onto Eliot Street.

From Dedham, West Roxbury, Roslindale, take Route 1 north to Jamacia Pond.
Just as you arrive at Jamaica Pond, turn right onto Eliot Street.

From Dorchester, take Morton Street (Route 203) past Forest Hills to the
rotary at the Arboretum. Take Route 1 north (Jamaicaway) about 1 mile,
turn right onto Eliot Street.

Parking can be found on the street or in a public lot behind the
"Blanchard?s" which is on Centre St. If you park on the street please
use care not to block any of our neighbors driveways.

By MBTA:
MBTA Route 39 bus runs from Copley Square to Centre Street to Forest Hills.
Ask to stop at the Civil War monument at Centre and South Streets. Look for
the Li'l Peach store at the corner of Eliot and Centre. The Footlight Club
is about 200 feet down Eliot Street. (See www.mbta.com for routes & schedules)

set in the oldest community theater in the country (since 1877), this was a fun set of plays that were genuinely funny.  i haven't been to one of these for a while - should do it more often.
